Hi my name is Joanne
I just started using the Fitbit flx today and I'm very excited..
Does anyone have any tips on how to get started on a big weightloss journey?
I have 91 pounds to lose. Thank you

Sure...I have a bit of input I'll share: Start slow.
There's a bit of a learning curve with the device and the web site and all of it's functionaltiy. I found some good tips on this site but also on YouTube specific to the Fitbit tools.
I have found the value for me is most around motivation and logging my food. I'm moving down the scale in 2 and 3 LB at a time for what its worth.
Good luck!

I'm going to second the start slow suggestion. Don't think you can dive right in at a -1000 calorie deficit.
Make very small but significant lifestyle changes: Smaller portions at dinner. Park at the far back of the parking lot and walk all the way to the store. Stand up frequently. Eat slower. No late night snacks. Drink more water. Once you master the "basic" lifestyle changes, it's easier to make bigger ones, like cutting caloric intake and serious exercise.
