Did you mean:

I'm getting conflicting information on how many calories I can eat.

Can anyone explain why my fitbit will tell me I can eat more calories but then if I do it puts me over my goal zone?  The goal zone shows I can eat less calories than what it's telling me on my meal plan.  I'm confused.

Hi - I'm having trouble with it too.  Really want to lose weight, but I'm failing miserably.  I'm staying under the amount of calories it says I can have for the day, but I'm still in the red zone??  It doesn't make any sense to me.  I wish Fitbit would actually provide answers rather than having to rely on other community members to guess what it might be.  That doesn't make any sense to me either.  Feeling VERY frustrated.  I'm sorry I'm no help - but I'm right there with you!!

Your daily calorie allowance should simply be less than your calories burnt. So you can eat more if you exercise more BUT! ...YOU MUST KEEP YOUR FAT GRAMS LOW! Usually below 40 grams per day for females and 60 per day for males.

The further below these numbers and the more exercise done the quicker you'll lose fat.
