Is anyone using apple cider vinegar to help with weight loss?

I have read all kinds of information about using Apple Cider Vinegar to aid in weightloss. There are claims that it helps diabetes by lowering glucose levels, and works as a digestive detox.

I currently add 2 tbps of unfiltered ACV to a 25 oz bottle of water. I often use a citrus wege or cucumber slices to cut the bitterness. While I have not seen significant change to my waist line, I do feel like my skin and hair is softer, and if I drink it through the first part of my day, I don't snack between breakfast and lunch.

I'm curious about how other people may use it.

My boyfriend and I use ACV. I'm worse about it then he is to be honest. I take the capsules because I cannot stand the taste or smell of the liquid vinegar, however the liquid is more direct. He takes a "shot" of ACV (1.5 oz) about 3-4 times a day and I'll take 2 capsules with each meal.

There are so many benefits to ACV that many people don't know about. We feel all around better when taking it consistantly. I noticed that I feel more awake and lively and he definitely has more energy when he takes it. Both of us rarely get sick and that says a lot since we work with children. We love it during the summer because it is possibly the best mosquito repellant available.

Check out these books for more info on ACV. I highly suggest the first one. It cost me about $5 at Barnes and Nobles.

I've never been a fan of attributing dietary mircales to single foods.  It seems to me that if your diet includes all of the vitamins and minerals that make up ACV you should reap the same benefits.  If you are having trouble getting those then maybe ACV could be used as a supplement?  So I guess if you are thinking off adding ACV to your diet, the question is to ask yourself if you are adding something that you aren't already getting plenty of in the first place.

High quality, very dark chocolate, has a ton of health benefits as well.  Controls blood sugar, appetite supprasent, anti-oxidants, also helps with blood pressure.   I worked at a chocolate factory for a while and we always told customres to take one bite of dark chocolate about 15 minutes before they eat and they won't feel like eating as much.
