Does anyone know if you can somehow put your gym time into fitbit to see the accuracy of calories burned

For instance the treadmill said I burned 1400 calories in 100 minutes ,is their a way to put start time and end time into fitbit to see actual calories burned on the dashboard or log and not manually put in the start time and calories/miles.I guess I want to be able to see the graph

Also a question I should know but do not. Lets say I for example yesterday burned 3415 calories am I supposed to be eating 1000 calories less than this or should I be eating the 1800 according to my BMR calculator and lifestyle adjustment.Just trying to figure out if I may be under eating

It depends on the model you have. You need to read the manual for the one you have.

You can locate that at the bottom of any page under Device Help

I use the One and use the Start/Stop Button. When it syncs I can see the calorie burn for that exercise.

It is not as Accurate as an HRM as fitbit is not a Heartrate Monitor

The Calories burned on Machines is not accurate either. I found they way over esitmate my Calorie burn from my HRM

The only really accurate way to do it is wear a heart rate monitor, since this will include info such as your weight, height, age in the calculation of calories burned. The treadmill calorie count can often be really inaccurate.

Agree with previous posters...the machines don't accurately calculate calorie burn and the fitbit is not a HRM.  I use a HRM both for accuracy and to keep me honest in terms of work out effort and pushing myself.
