Well, back again for the New Year!!!!
-This challenge doesn't have anything to do with USW, CW, GW, UGW, or PW.
-Instead, the goal is reach the most amount of daily step goals during the month January-2017. Challenge yourself to hit 31 out of 31 days. Increasing the # of daily checkins increases the chances of achieving 31/31 days. If you discover this mid month, no problem just post away.
-In addition to steps, I thought it would be interesting to add a calories burned goal as well.
Posting format:
1) List your daily step goal
2) List the # of daily step goals achieved during January-2017

Yep, got them all. The PW is most often used when posting in any of the weekly challenge threads, although there's usually no actual requirement to do so.

15,000 steps | 4000 calories
9/31 | 8/31
Unless I get super enthusiastic I'm not going to increase either of these today. Off on a business thing (that will be over tomorrow) and have less than 5000 steps today. I've been considering taking a rest day so I'm thinking perhaps this is it. May even take a nap before dinner.
Not going to track anything for food either. Had zero breakfast and a lovely madras chicken curry at lunch (skipped most of the rice and half of the naan) but I'd be willing to bet with having few steps in I'm probably not going to end the day close on calories either.

Yesterday was great. Killed both my step and burn goals. It isn't looking good for today though. Meetings, meeting, meetings. Lots of sitting. We'll see.

Because of a series of unfortunate events I managed to hit both my step and calorie goals yesterday. That is the positive side of getting locked out of a giant building and having to walk its perimeter to the only open door, in the rain, and once inside walk, and walk and walk only to find they changed the meeting place! Ugh! But in the end I hit my step and calorie goals. It counts even if it was against my will at the time.

Hit both goals yesterday. This thread has help me be much more accountable. Normally I wouldn't hit the 10,000k step goal if it isn't a workout day, and I only workout 3-4 days a week. One of those is yoga, so no significant steps. So thanks to the OP. Hopefully, I will keep hitting it as time goes on and I only have to account to myself.

Finally managed to get back to C25K last night - Week 6 day 1 complete!
This day returns to the 5-8 minute intervals after the 20-minute run in W5D3, so I found it a good place to come back to. I ran on the treadmill at home so I could watch videos to distract me from clock-watching.

Wednesday was not too bad, 12 K steps, pretty good for a day in town.
Thursday, 20.6 K steps, 78 floors.
Colder today and light rain may be tough to get out there and walk.
