Hello everyone,

I have had a fitbit for awhile, but haven't really used the message boards before and this is my first time. I am totally (yeah, I'm from CA) use this page as this was a goal of mine already. I'm not sure what all the letters mean (but I know CW is current weight).

I also use MFP for the colorie counting, but can't seem to get FB and MFP to synch up together, and they show two drastically different numbers. HELP!!

I am 6'2'' male. I was wondering if there are a lot of guys who also do the challenges?

SW= 240 last month

CW = 234

GW = 220 (by Holloween)

UGW = 200 (if that is even possible)

We can all do this together!! 🙂

Thanks for all the help.

Hi all! Hope you're all having good weekends Smiley Happy

So after being stuck on 153lbs for a few weeks I stepped on the scales this morning after my parkrun & was so happy to see I had dropped a pound! Yay to small but mighty victories! Smiley Very Happy

Felt so good to see the changed weight on the scale & to top it off I ran a personal best in my 5k parkrun (just lol)! So all in all a good start to the weekend.

Keep up the amazing work guys & gals Smiley Happy

@dancefoxtrot  Hi. You mentioned having minor surgery a few days ago.  Just wanted to check on you.  Hope it went well and you are ready to start dancing again soon.

The activity that seems impossible today, will soon be your warm-up

Welcome @mugofire.  I have not used MFP but occasionaly I notice a big difference between FB's calorie count and the actual calorie count on the label.  I always double check big calorie items.  Congrats on the weight loss!

@saraj91 Congrats on breaking your plateau.  They can be quite discouraging.

@MoonlightCello I do, too!  She keeps me moving and makes me laugh.  Like many folks, this is not my first time around the block with this weight-loss effort.  But this time I am totally committed and determined to develop a new lifestyle, and it's working (4 months in and 18 lbs down--slow and steady).  But health and fitness stuff can get so overwhelming that laughing is great for re-establishing balance.

It's funny that I am constantly trying to focus better on my goals while (read "occasionally obsessing"), at the same time, constantly getting distracted (by holidays, company, urges--ha ha!).  So it's good to have a friend (my avatar, in this case) to remind me not to take myself too seriously.  Thanks for noticing my girl!  Your avatar is gorgeous!  Is that you? (Can I ask that?)

Thank you @pcobb8

Yes with your height thats a very reasonable and good weight!! I am 6' so... 175-180 is still at the higher end of the BMI table but I am actually quite skinny when I am at that weight and in the end, I want to be healthy and fit, not skinny.

Until then there is hard work, a bit of fun, a bit more hard work....
