I think what you need to do is, when you reply next to this thread uncheck the blue box next to your post.
It says "email me when someone replies".... this way you wont get updates everytime someone writes here....
There is know blue box but a box is checked Subscriptions "Email me when someone replies" have unchecked that 3 times now with know results.

@viny22 I think that's the box I meant. Now obviously I am not an administrator for the site. So sorry!! Would have loved to help you!
Is there something in your settings you can change? like here:
Click on the wheel next to your little picture on the right hand side (top right).
Choose "Settings / Personal Profile / Email / "Don't send me any community emails"
I would try to check that box and see if that helps.

@Mermaid3011 Congrats on the regular size!! That is amazing. The clothes buying as we lose weight is such a reward, but so expensive. I found a tailor who said she could take in my skirts, pants as I lose weight so I don't have to keep buying stuff. But I do reward myself with a new scarf or something that I can always wear. My requirement is that it has to look snazzy - no more hiding because of my weight. Those days are over. But, I do plan to buy new things when I get near my goal.
I also hope you are feeling better, meds are straightening out.

My scale thinks it is a trampoline. I'm up a little, down a little, up a lot, down a little...
That said, it is heading in the right direction.
Mostly, I'm very aware that the number on the scale is only one way of measuring progress, and not a very good way. As I become more and more active I am getting stronger and have better endurance and flexibility. I'm much more energetic, more resilient, and I feel, well, younger. I move so much more easily - hiking and climbing over rocks, jumping over branches ....I feel like I have springs in my feet instead of feeling like I can't get off the couch. My skin is better, my hair is better, I feel sharper. Fewer aches and pains.
Who'd of thought all I had to do was actually nourish myself?

What I did was go to my email preferences and I changed it so I get a daily digest email of everyone that has responded in the thread. So, I still get to keep up with this thread, but I don't get a bunch of emails throughout the day.

good thoughts. my scale took a dive today. it thinks i lost 4 pounds in the last 24 hours. that can't be real, and tomorrow, when it goes up, that won't be real either.
The far more important measures, as you said, are how you feel, how clothes fit (which I really don't care about, but do notice), and being more active is just so much fun.
I love all the tvs at the gym! I can watch 8 channels at once!
all for now

Oh Thank you @pcobb8 - but today I was up again by 1-2 lbs. I was just too sick to eat anything... that's why the big drop. 🙂 Now it's going back to normal.
But I am tickled pink about being under 220. Those steps of 10s are so magical... 🙂
And I am certain you will see the 7 next week!! You've been great this week and you will be doing great next week!
Oh and I just remembered: if you were flying on an airplane this week, your body retains water. Usually a few pounds. It's height and pressure and such... so don't worry! 4 days and youll be back down with your weight.

Thanks Mermaid, the 2 weeks prior to finding your little motivation helper here were both only .2kg losses so I had slowed down, so this helped greatly this week .
According to my BMI chart on here I am only .2 off of going from obese to just plain overweight........maybe this time next week .
Congratulations to all who have dropped a little this week.

Love your post. Springs in your feet and so much more of so many good things. Hooray for you.
Amazing what good food, right proportions and movement make.
Wish me luck as I do my dance performances on Sat night at 6 pm, I'll do fine if I don't get anxious and blank out. I spent the afternoon gluing on little rhinestones on my costume again and that is tedious.
My scale is a trampoline as well and that is a funny concept.
I do fit in the dress so here goes me doing my best I pray.

What a smart daughter you have and I'm so glad you feel the difference right away. The scale will catch up and is secondary to health, energy, good clean food and movement.

Thanks for your support about the coach. I will see what happens in the lesson following the performance. I told him clearly that I want to dance the gold level so we will see. I may bring him a video from 96 of a younger me doing just that. When I get anxious and annoyed the internal chatter ramps up. Well off to help a couple with their Waltz routine for tomorrow. The man lives minutes away from the huge Valley fire in the next county so he hasn't been able to leave and practice.
How cool that Bobbi's on both coasts are listening to inspiring E. Tolle talks.
Thanks so much for your on going support.
Best to all the challengers too.

There can be weight gain from food remnants still inside the body from previous days up to a few pounds, more in case of being constipated..
There can be water upkeep when eaten to much salt or its warmer outside.. our bodies holding onto water when not getting enough to try prevent dehydration.
There can be weight loss from body fat, this weight loss compensated by a increase in muscle mass. Weight staying the same though being leaner..
Listen to your body when not hungry or needing to force feed regardless of the plan.. try waiting till your body asks to be nourished.. eating until satisfied not stuffed.
Aim to eat nutrition rich foods mainly because of being less in calories than cookies overall.. providing the body with the nutrients it needs keeping satisfied for longer. It's possible to be satisfied with lots less calories than a plan says but the body not needing more.
Eating cookies can lead to eat more, though still being hungry and having eaten enough already though the body seeks for the nutrients it's missing.
Try listening to your body which food looks appealing in the moment in which quantity.. and try feeling when your body don't need more.
You can start eating slower, feeling no need to have more.. the last bites may not taste as good anymore..
When logging it's possible to eat more and logging less what has been eaten.
Change to a bit larger deficit or when not having appetite / being hungry yet. Honour your body not having more, it's always possible to eat later on..
