I've been a fitness trainer, marathon runner, Army officer, Army Master Fitness Trainer, Army Basic Training Commander (boot camp) as well. I've trained hundreds of people. For women, I'd focus not on weight but either on dress sizes at a store with predictable sizing (because women's clothes are inconsistently sized), or on body measurements. Weight is unfortunately a terrible measure and an entire industry is built around weight loss versus health.
