Looking for accountability buddies

Hello!!  I'm new to fitbit and looking for some buddies to make it less painful and more accountability is always good.  I've done a lot of different programs and methods to lose weight, I've lost 73 pounds but I've been bouncing back and forth 25 lbs and can't seem to get below that stupid number.  I use myfitnesspal currently and love the people I have on there, but felt my calories could be more accurate through this so I'm hoping to find some people here for support and accountability or just to make stupid jokes with 🙂

 

I am 28 years old and live in WY, I am a college student, PC gamer, teacher, and nerd.  When I was 21 I got blood clots in my leg and lungs and came very close to death multiple times, although I've healed well and I'm doing fairly well now I'm stuck on some really nasty medication that prohibits me from a lot of the things I love and makes weight loss much more difficult.  It's also my biggest motivation for weight loss, if I can get to 100 pounds lost I can get off the blood thinners and be able to play sports again, have children, and all the other awesome things I'm not allowed to do now.  Between the clots and some other health risks I have atm I've been approved for the lapband surgery.  I have a couple months before I get it done, I know it's not a magic fix and that it's not going to be easy so I want to continue eating healthy and exercising as though nothing is happening with the hopes I'll heal fast and make the best of the situation.

What are you looking for in an accountability buddy

Aurra - Sounds like you have been through alot and still going strong.  Would love to have someone with that kind of strength as an accountability buddy.  I have used myfitness pal, but for the most part currently use the fitbit and mapmyrun apps to track my stuff.  Am sitting at about 258lbs right now and would like to get down to about 225, but for right now would settle for getting under 250.  Love lifting, hate running(but have taken up running ), and realizing that I need to pay more attention to diet.  Will send you a friend your way if interested. And stupid jokes are my speciality.

not running repeat not running I go for a good 2 1/2 mile brisk walk I
started it 228 I want to get down to 180 I have been doing this for five
days now if there is anyway that I can help you please let me know
