Looking for new buddies

I'm looking for some new friends to help motivate me. I'm looking for regular people who are more like myself. I have real life friends that hit 10,000 before I even wake up.

I like the way you worded that. I too am looking for regular people friends who are working up to 10k, not treating 10k as their warmup.

I got my Fitbit around a month ago and 10K was a challenge for the first week. But today, within a month, I made small adjustments in my day to day activity i.e. said goodbye to procrastination, and 15 to 20K is a breeze.

If you're fitbit is counting steps accurately, and not overcounting, you would need to walk about 10 actual miles a day to get 20k steps. Would you agree?

Accuracy! I'm not sure if my fitbit is counting accurately and 20K steps - 10 miles is not true in my case. Actually I never paid attention at miles.

I presume fitbit's accuracy/inaccuracy is predictable. So as long as it encourages me to put my weight on my feet and not on my back it has done its job.
