Lost and Found

This week has been a rough week for me as far as motivation goes! I normally shoot for 3 days/week in the gym and go walking the other days but my allergies started to flare up which left me tired and unmotivate. How do my fellow fitbit users stay on track when motivation is lost?

It can be hard at times.  One of the things I have done is start to listen to audio books when walking and in the gym.  I only listen to them on those occassions.  When I don't have motivation to exercise, I find motivation in wanting to hear what happens next in the book.  I have also picked someone on my fitbit friends list to compete with, not always the same person.  I always aim to equal, or do better than they've done in a day.  It helps that I am a bit competitive, which is why that gives me the motivation I need.

I do exactly this, audiobooks instead of sitting down to read in the evening and compete with whoever is above me in my friends list 😄

Since getting it, I've not missed a target yet but I have found myself out just before midnight to make up the numbers. The trainer app has put my calorie burn number up this week by a good amount and I'm not sure I will hit the targets, I had an especially busy weekend where I was on my feet most of the time and I think this has skewed my numbers a bit Man Sad
