I should of posted this earlier, but been busy. last week I met my goal and lost 75lbs, and am now 225 from 300lbs. Today I hit the scale at 224 so even though I'm not trying I still am losing weight. This is a life change, and I'm not going back to my old ways of eating, and not exercising just because I hit my goal. To everyone trying to lose weight there isn;t a quick fix, and it isn't easy. This took a year, and it's a lifestyle change.
I went from 3XL to XL shirts, and a size 46 to size 36 in pants. I now can look in the mirror, and see I'm half the person I use to be. Good luck everyone on your journey, and remember you can't outrun your fork.

I'm doing the same thing you are. I went from 270 to 206. From a 46 pant size to a size 38. Shirt size from a tight XXL to a Large. Even my shoes feel bigger. I didn't know weight loss could affect your shoe size. I started mine journey in November 2014 by manually counting everything on paper and on Christmans I got my Fitbit, which has changed my whole life. I haven't hit my goal yet. I want to get down to 165 pounds by October. That is my goal.

@Trooper congrats it's crazy where you lose weight. Smaller hat size, watches don't fit any more, bracelets are now too big, rings are too big, shoes size, glasses needed to be resized. it's not just pants, and shirts.

You're an inspiration to me because I'm trying to lose weight and have set my first goal at 10st (I'm 5'2") which gives me just under 80lbs to lose. If I can do this whilst getting healthier too then maybe I'll look at setting an ultimate goal. The fitbit certainly helps with the motivation doesn't it?

thanks @WillowTheWhisp I hope my journey can help others. The fitbit does help, but it's not the be all end all. For me the most important part was changing my eating habits and tracking calories, and myfitnesspal help so much. I use to eat tons of junk food and large portions, at first it was hard to stop but it's baby steps. I shifted away from processed foods and started cooking protien, vegetables, rice and after a while your body doesn't even crazy junk food anymore. before i didn't have a shut off, and had a never ending fork but now my body tells me it's full. I still have a cheat meal like last night I had a nice bacon cheddar burger with onion rings, and froyo. Anyway best of luck
Thanks to everyone @EdsonFitbit @Raynoszs for the positive comments.

I can make a mean Bacon Cheddar Burger with 1/2 calories and fat of a regular burger. Take 3 oz Ground Turkey or Chicken. Small Hamburger Bun, Fat Free Mayo, 2 slices of Turkey Bacon, add your conditments, and BAM!!! You got something that tastes just as good as a burger from a Fast Food Joint. Here is the calorie count. The bun is about 110, Turkey Bacon is about 90, Mayo- about 20, Some Cheese- about 75 calories for 1/2 slice- total calories about 265. Beats 1100 calories from a burger from Carl Juniors anytime.

7-3-45- Update:
I lost another 2 pounds. Now I my weight is 201. A total of 69 pounds lost. Most of it has to do with just tracking calories, eating right, and some excercise. I can fit in a size 16.5 shirt now (Large). I went to the resale shop today and I had to move away from the XXL Shirts to the Large Size. I had to go because I had to replace two pants and two shirts that got too big last week.

I think part of the great things one can enjoy after losing weight is buying new clothing.

Congrats 🙂 that's an amazing feeling when you have reached what you desired and struggled to get to.
The journey may be rough but the result is beyond worth it.
I am down 10lbs so far, 56lbs to go.
