Yep, you will notice that the numbers start dropping much slower over time. In that case you can try looking at other indicators of success, such as clothing fit. Pull out an old piece of clothing you can no longer fit and make it your goal to get into it. That can be an even bigger motivator than the numbers on the scale.
Also, you can focus on things like how you feel overall during and after exercise. Can you exercise longer than initially without needing a break? Can you meet your milestones faster than initially? All these are things you can be looking at besides the scale.
Another thing, I don't know what your BMR and calorie burn rate is, but don't deprive yourself as you go along. Meaning, if you keep a reasonable caloric deficit for you, eat nutritiously, and exercise, the weight will still drop, maybe slower, but in a sustainable manner in the long run.
