I have been using my charge since mid January, I have stuck to a good diet of salad, fresh veg and fruit, I am walking an average of 16,459 steps a day over 6.76 miles, exercising for a minimum 147 mins a day, burning approx 2439 calories, eating approx 1900 calories, climbing 17 floors and I am still gaining weight, my weight was 10st4 when I started and I got down to 9st13 on Thursday but since thursday I have gained 4lbs taking me back to 10st3, I am thinking it could possibly be my scales (well thats what Im hoping Smiley Tongue) so I am thinking about purchasing an Aria, any advice about the aria and weight gain solution please, am I doing something wrong?

Personally, I only weigh once per week as day to day fluctuations (especially the up-ticks) can be frustrating.
Could be water weight if you've recently eaten more sodium... also keep in mind that 100 calories of food "A" may weigh considerably more or less than 100 calories of food "B," so when you're weighing every day you have to take into consideration the weight of the food you've recently eaten.
Also would recommend that you weigh everything you eat, and keep in mind that the calories you're burning (as reported by your fitbit) are estimated... so an overestimation of calories burned, coupled with an underestimation of calories consumed can easily erase a perceived deficit.

Thanks for your reply, I usually weigh once a week, but decided to weigh mid week as I really felt like I had lost some, I usually weigh first thing in the morning, I will try weighing my food to see if that makes any difference 🙂 I add all my activities through myfitnesspal and it then goes straight to fitbit, do you have the Aria scales, and would you recommend them?

One way to even out the daily fluctuations is to use TrendWeight. You can link your Fitbit account to TrendWeight, and if you have an Aria (to answer the question of the original poster, it’s very convenient as it automatically uploads your weight and body fat data to your Fitbit account), you don’t have to do anything.
This is an exemple of a weight trend (in this case, last three months) drawn by TrendWeight:

The Aria is a good scale (mine has been serving me well for already close to three years). However, some people are having problems setting it up, so you may want to buy yours from a place that will let you return it easily, if needed.
