New to FitBit, looking for friends!

Hello all. I just got my FitBit Charge on Dec. 27th. I have about 180 pounds to lose Robot Sad I have tried MANY other things, and to this point I have failed every single time i've tried to get rid of this weight! Hopefully this new little gadget i'll have a little more motivation. But I would really like to find some friends going through the same situation. Every time i've went at losing this weight, i've went at it alone. Maybe finding some lovely friends out there will help me along and I can really, really do this thing this time around!

Feel free to add me! I would love to make some friends on here. Robot Very Happy

I would also love to hear your stories about your journeys through this weight-loss and fitness thing! I could use all the motivation I can get. Robot LOL

Hi!

I got my FitBit an hour ago and am in the same boat as you. 🙂 I've tried many things as well and my weight loss has not been successful. I'm hoping to use my FitBit Charge HR to engage in more effective workouts and monitor my heart rate and activities.

I'd love to team up with people in the FitBit community to see how I can better leverage this device to manage my weight and improve my health. 🙂

That's exactly what i'm looking for too! I know it's going to be hard,
because I also have PCOS and they are treating some of my issues with the
Depo Provera shot, so I know this is going to make things considerably
harder. But i'm hoping that i'll find all I need here and make some new
friends and get this thing underway!

Hi I'm new too. I have about 80 pounds to lose. I just got the charge hr and I'm really excited about it. They thought I had pcos for awhile because I have a lot of the symptoms but now they aren't so sure. I do definitely have type 2 diabetes though. That was a pretty recent diagnosis. So now I'm working on getting healthier and losing some pounds. Weight loss has always been really challenging for me.  Good luck!

I've been told if I could lose some weight, it would help with some of the symptoms of the PCOS, so i'm really hoping they're right. I know what you mean with being diabetic too; As of right now I am borderline diabetic, and diabetes runs STRONG in my family, mostly type 2. Hopefully with all the things that this FitBit offers, and all the tools that are at my disposal now, losing weight will be easier this time and maybe i'll suceed, but I know it's still gonna be a challenge. Good luck to you too! I wish you much success!
