New to Fitbit - need motivation

Hi All

I hope you are all welll.

I have just completed my first day with fitbit. I am in need of help. I need some motivation. Currently none of my friends have a fitbit. Im quite competitive and i think having someone to compete against on a daily basis will really help me. I am trying to lose weight and be more active. I go to the gym 3 times a week. I sometimes struggle with going all the time tho. I would like to find somene who would  like to chat about fitness, weightloss, fitbit and would be a friend i could challenge on fitbit. If anyone would like to then please let me know.

Hey there I too am new to the fitbit world and none of my friends are using it. I struggle with consistency and emotional eating (when stressed). I could use some encouragers and someone to help me stay on track. I am still learning alot about what all fitbit has to offer.

Hi all

 

I've just completed my first week with fitbit and today finally got over 10,000 - yay! No one else I know has one either so count me in. I've had a few health issues that I'm coming back from and am targeting a loss of 44 kgs over the next couple of years. Week 1 = 1kg, I know that level is not sustainable but great to have it recorded for motivation.

I am on the same page and have just gotten back into using my Fitbit and it's encouraging me to move off the couch! the main reason why i want to use my FitBit is to keep me motivated as even without hitting the gym I can see that incidental excercise helps! I use my Fitbit to keep me motivated to exercise and walk!

It definitely helps to motivate you when you see what you do do during a working day and there isn't that much more to do. It has also motivated me to start to walk more locally rather than take the car - to the vegan takeaway for dinner the other night and the local farmers market this morning.

I am a full time stay at home mom with 5 kids now finally trying to get my body back and lose this weight once and for all, i need to get back into shape.  it's very hard to keep going with this fitness but i'm trying my best, need some friends to add and like to challenge when i can.  I only have a couple friends that have fitbit but i need more to keep me going.
