Off week

This is the first week that I have not lost weight since I started my journey on Feb 14th. I have my goals set to lose 2 pounds a week and have been successful up to this point losing at least 2 pounds a week. I bought my fitbit for a Valentine’s Day present to myself from puppies 🙂 I feel like I did nothing different this week then I have any other week however the scale didn't move any a hundredth. I met my step goal, stayed under my food budget for all 7 days, and drank 100+ oz. of water daily. I have 45 more pounds to lose before I hit my target goal. I am hoping to be down another 20 lbs. by mid-June when I go on a cruise. Any ideas why the scaled may not have moved today like it has the past month and a half? I am up for suggestions of things I can change to improve my health and jump start my weight loss again.

i've gone 2-3 weeks not losing any weight, then it just starts up again.  sometimes, the body just needs to adjust.  so, don't fret too much.  just keep doing what you're doing and give it another week or two.  if you're still stuck, then maybe it'll be time to change things up.

Plateaus are pretty normal. Try to do a different exercise. It doesn't have to be complex. If you normally walk or ride a bike, find an elliptical trainer or find an exercise show on your television. You don't have to make this a part of your routine. Just change things up for a week. The body learns to adjust to what we're doing and changing it might be enough of a shock to get back on track. Worth a try.
