I have the Aria and like it.
But I also have a Tanita that I find very accurate. They have several models so you would need to search for them. I also think they have a store Locator on their site.
You do not need a scale with Body fat measurements etc. They really are not accurate. Tanita has several that do not have it
Also came back to say weighing in at different time will produce diferent results. What you ate, even the clothes you wore to the Dr will effect the weight

I agree that you dont need a body fat mass scale. A simple electronic / digital scale will do just fine. As long as you weigh yourself at the same time every day (preferably morning right out of bed in your birthday suit) you will get the most precise results. Sometimes I step on my scale 3 times and see if the numbers stay the same. They usually do.
Your doctors office scale definitely weighed your clothes, what you ate and drank during the day etc. So dont be discouraged. They are starting you out at 15.11. Fine. It's just a number. In the end 10 pounds lost will show on both scales.

Note that one scale is different from another scale and can differentiate at different time periods. You can weigh in at 4:00 AM and weigh 15.2 Stone, then 3 hours later going to the hospital for the pre-op weigh 15.11 Stone based on what you have consumed. Or when you empty your bladder completely and fasted up to the point, you could weigh 14.11 Stone. Most of my clothing weighs the same and I step on the scale barefoot or with socks on. Doesn't make a difference.
You should base your weigh ins on the same scale throughout the program rather than fighting on what scale is better than the other. For me, I have the Withings scale, but I don't use the body fat sensors as it's completely inaccurate. My body fat at home is 12.5% but the program I'm on now called Skulpt displays the more accurate body fat measurement overall at 15%. And tells me where my worst fat is which would be my Quads at 20% fat and my Triceps at 20%.
