Setting weight loss goals

My weight can fluctuate one to even five pounds daily in spite of the fact that I VERY rarely have had a red (over target) bar in the past year out of the one year and two months I have used fitbit to lose my last few pounds.

After starting out at 147 pounds on December 18, 2015, I am very happy with a weight range of 133 to 136 so I planned to set my goal weight at a cieling weight of 136.5 and stay under it. The trouble is that Fitbit keeps "bugging" me to update my goal weight and then tries to make me gain or lose to match it. If I do change my goal, Fitbit goes back and changes my over/under records thereby negating my green and gold bars and replacing them with red ones. I JUST WANT TO MAINTAIN THAT THREE POUND RANGE!

At this time my maintenance efforts are being challenged by an Rx for 20mg of Prednisone daily to bring a severe bout of Microscopic (Lymphocitic) Colitis under control, and also by the fact that for a while most of my food went right through me, keeping my weight at an artificial low of 129 to 133 pounds.

How would others suggest I set my goal to stay within my desired range and keep fitbit happy.

You just need to get use to the flucuations. You already know what causes it. Now deal with it.

I go out to eat and I gain 5 pounds. But I know it will be off in a few days. My body doesnt like soduim. Im aware of it and deal with it
