I've more or less been eating normally and summer shouid be a time where one LOSES weight, no? So far, my weight has gone up about 2 lb (a little more than general fluctuation for a short gal like me) and fat percentage is up about 1.5%. Sleep has been good over the past two weeks and I haven't really been eating any more (save for the July 1 Canada Day holiday). Weight gain started the week BEFORE the holiday. I only weigh myself once a week. Any idea why? Too much water intake? I don't drink alcohol too much. I've only had a single glass of wine over the past 15 days.

Sodium intake can make your water weight go up quickly if you've been eating any high sodium foods lately.

I usually weigh daily and could not do that while I was traveling the first week of July. When I got back I was up about 4 lbs, but I do see that much change day to day sometimes, so I think it probably was more water weight change than actual fat.. My daily weigh-ins have been dropping since I got back so I feel better. Don’t like waiting for a week to see if an increase is ‘real’ or not; rather do the daily weigh-ins and follow the weight trend/moving average instead.
