Did you mean:

The way I lost some weight

Number one:  Try your best to stay away from processed foods at all costs.  In the grocery store, the only areas there are no processed foods are the produce section and the meat department.  I'm not paleo, so I eat potatoes, grains, oats.  Basicially everything in a package that is boxed up is a processed food in some way.

The processed food that I eat the most is bread.

Changing your diet to reduce processed foods is sustainable, a specific diet is not.  This is why most people gain weight after loosing some from a diet. They will go back to their old eating habits.

Number two: Be active as much as possible. I'm a cyclist and go for 2-4 rides a week, plus a 3 mile jog once a week. (And I'm not a young guy....>50)  Just walking after eating lunch or dinner is a great way to burn a few calories.

In 3 years or so, I went from a high of 185 lbs to 165.  5'10" in height and small boned, so 185 was quite heavy for me.

Background info:

I received a fitbit Charge HR for Christmas...  Testing it out now...

I already have a few Garmin devices that I use for cycling/jogging and typically wear the HR monitor on my activities.  Aside from sleep monitoring/walking steps, I'm not sure how this Fitbit will blend into my lifestyle.

Good luck to all !!!

I'll add another tip, drink water for your beverage most of the time. I stopped drinking sodas years ago.  When I have coffee, it is black about 95% of the time. (You need to drink good coffee to have it black!)  Drink water for lunch and dinner.

And the obvious........no fast foods.............Aside from a buritto or pizza after cycling 😃
