Under budget?

So far I've "eaten" ~1400 cals for the day (I pre-logged my dinner just so I don't forget lol). I have my weight loss deficit set to 2lbs/week. Taking that into account I've burned 2500 calss, yet FB says I'm under by about 700 calories. Should I have not pre-logged my dinner, or will my calories even out by the end of the day? I have my plan set at personalized.

I have my food logged in MFP, and my settings there are also correct. Only differences are I am doing calorie cycling and myactivity level there is set at active just because of my general lifestyle.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys!!

Everything should even out by the end of the day if you are under for the day. For some reason, Fitbit logs your calories in real-time. As time passes you will have more calories to "spend".

So I should be in the zone or a bit more reasonably under by the end of the day?

It depends on how many calories you have eaten. Your plan estimates a calorie target for you based on how much weight you are trying to lose. Try and stay under the total daily estimate, and the end result will be fine. It says your total allowable on the front of the widget, and when you click on it, you get the real time one...sometimes I am over in real time but end up under for the day, it depends on how much I eat. I also know how much I should eat based on my TDEE and try not to go over that.

Okay, I'm just looking at the app. This is what I'm looking at: A25C3A22-2A4E-4A10-84FF-8E1908B38E00.jpeg

Ok so it says you should technically have 669 calories left to eat today. If you stay under that number, you should be under for the day. You are currently under at this point in time. The days where the line is red, you went over for the day, and blue means you were under. Green is right on target.

@bruinsgirl33 you will figure this out by the scale. If I was consistently under budget, I lost weight. There is a margin of error with calories out. They are not exact. So for me, being under factored in the overage in the calories out and kept me at the deficit I needed to lose weight.
