If you have not consumed more than your recommended number of calories for the day, there is nothing to worry about. Fitbit is calculating your progress in real time, so the number of calories you have left to eat will increase as time passes and you burn calories.
Take this example:
You normally burn 3000 calories per day, and want to have a 1000 calorie deficit per day leaving you with 2000 to consume.
If you eat 1500 of those 2000 calories for breakfast, Fitbit will say you overconsumed because you have not yet burned a lot of calories for the day. As the day progresses, you will slowly fall "in the zone", and will remain there as long as you don't overconsume.
Sounds complicated, but it really is not. Just focus on your total calorie allotment for the day and stick to it.
