Since I started with the FitBit program I have lost 50 lbs. or 23 kgs. I actually exceeded my goal. As I was going through the process of establishing new weight goals , my goal is to gain roughly 5 lbs or 2 kgs. Fitbit came back and said to me our program does not support weight gain. I guess that was an odd request but is it, those who read this will think what's the problem go get a couple bags of Doritto's and enjoy yourself. That is not the type of weight I want on , I want weight gain through good diet gaining lean muscle mass. Maybe FitBit should be able to help someone like myself who would like to gain through good nutrition. Anyway I digress.

Well, go ahead and set your weight goal through the weight tile. You will get an "Hoooray!!" message; ignore it and continue. It will show you that your weight goal is met; but when you click at the graph you will see and track the details of your weight.
Hope this helps.

Just eat 250 more than maintenance, each day.
Can't gain lean muscle mass anyway - no such thing. Your body will determine how much fat happens to be in the muscle, not your diet or your workouts (except endurance cardio causes some extra fat stores for each access) will make that happen.
A butcher is the only one to give you some lean meats.
Perhaps you mean just gaining fat at all, which would be on top of the muscle.
Then you'll want that very minor surplus, and something you don't mention since you only talk about adding good weight through diet - which isn't going to happen. Good or not, you eat in surplus - you'll gain fat.
So I'm hoping the progressive overload lifting is already being done and part of this program - though unmentioned.
That's the only way you'll gain weight without it being all fat, and mainly not fat if just a minor surplus.
But yah, have to just tweak your goals for weight gain.
You could look at your average weekly reports from Fitbit (hopefully you manually log Weights to correct the burn estimates, or you'll never get in to surplus), and using that average daily burn - set a personal eating goal that is 250 more.
Then just reach that daily - and repeat each week or 2. Suggest using a 3 week rolling average actually. And leave out weeks that are not average, like sick or vacation or moving 3 friends, ect.
