Taking it one step at a time I'm going to try and lose weight as much as Possible the healthy way! Through eating right and exercise! I have a desk job so I've been pacing back and forth, I have the goal to get at least 5,000 steps before I go home from work. Right now im at 2500 and i have 2.5 hrs left! I love the new goal of getting at least 250 steps in every hour! that is so great!
Who is with me!

Hi,
Good luck with your weight loss journey. Check the label and see how much sugar is in the fat free milk. I recall even the fat free milk contains too much sugar the reason I stopped drinking milk many years ago. I don't eat cereals. Also if you want to see significant weight loss limit your fruit intake. Fruits also contains too much sugar even though it's natural sugar. But to me sugar is sugar. It has the same affect on the body. I eat a piece of fruit once a month if I think about it.
Start reading the nutritional labels and check for the amount of sugar the item contains. Granola bars are high in sugar, too. Quest protein bar is a better choice.

Grapes are one the fruits that has the highest amount of sugar. Plus it adds a lot of water weight. People think when they're eating fruits they are eating healthy. But unfortunately they are not. There are many supplements out there that one can take with less sugar and get the same benefits as eating a fruit. Say no to smoothies, too. And high sugar yogurt.

Days that I plan to be super active and need extra energy, I eat brown rice(good carbs), baked fish or chicken and tuna((protein). I eat 3- 4 Quest protein bars througout the day and drink liquid eggwhites most mornings after I leave gym. I also keep a gallon of water with me during the weekdays at work. So I drink a lot of water. I don't drink much else. Occasionally, I need a gatorade or something with potassium since I sweat alot during my workouts.
My cheat days consist of homemade hamburger or pizza. If you're very very active then eating some junk foods shouldn't be a problems. The only sweets I eat is ice cream.
