What does this mean

Under my Fitbit account tab then activity goals there are a number of things like steps with 10,000 next to it, and distance with 5 miles. I get that these are goals but under the calorie one it says 2,170. I am not sure how it got there.... can anyone tell me what this means please

The default goal for steps, distance, floors etc. is the same for everyone, young or old, female or male, tall or short, light or heavy. The default goal for calories take into account age, gender, height, weight. It’s set by Fitbit, just like the other default goals. It’s usually more challenging than the step goal: in other words, reaching the 10k step goal may not be sufficient to reach the calories goal. All these defaults goals can be changed by you, if you find they are not realistic, or not challenging enough.
