What I mean by that is:  

 

How much do you weigh?

Next, decide how much you would like to weigh.

 

Then determine what body fat percent you want to be.  See the photo and decide what’s right for you.

 

Once you determine your desired weight and body fat, calculate how long it will take you to reach your goal.  For me, I wanted to lose 45 pounds and 6% of body fat in 6 months.  I needed to lose 2 pounds per week (45 pounds ÷ 24 weeks) and I needed to lose .25% of body fat per week (6% ÷ 24 weeks) to reach my goal.
