I've nver heard of my net diary but I do use MyFitnessPal in sync with my Fitbit because it has a HUGE food data base and there's also an option for you to scan the barcodes on the foods so it's a lot easier! MyFitnessPal also uses your fitbit caloric burn to adjust how many more/less cals you have left to consume in the day. Def worth a try! Hope this helps 🙂

From my understanding, the calories you burned will automatically be deducted from your net calories. In other words, if I burned 500 calories today running, then FitBit will sync this info over to MyFitnessPal and you should have -500 calories (at the top where it says EXERCISE or all the way on the bottom where it says Cardio Exercise).
Now, moving on to your question about losing weight.. if you want to lose weight, you would have to create a calorie deficit. One pound is the equivalent to 3,500 calories. However, if you want to maintain weight, I suggest you eat the calories you burned off to avoid muscle loss.
Remember, the number on the scale isn't everything because muscle weighs more than fat! Hope this helps :)!
