I have the same problem. I spent 75 min. today exercising in the water, water aerobics and then swimming. It's too bad there is no way to count those steps other than counting the calories burned thru MFP. Three days a week that brings my average steps down to about 7000. It would be nice if they could make it water proof.

Thanks for your reply. I am only logging my activity thru My Fitness Pal and it does give me credit for the water aerobics and the swimming. I was just wishing that it would show up in my steps for the day as the days I swim and do water exercises my count is much lower. The aerobic class I took today was definitely very active but as you say they are not all that way. At our gym there are 3 water aerobic instructors and they are all very different.
