bariatric bypass surgery

I have a diet that restricts me to 600 calories a day and FITBIT will NOT allow me to change to 600 Calories, it limits me to 1000 calories WHY?

@Marc1955   I'm not a Fitbit employee, just a long time user.  Fitbit uses many published guidelines, like from the CDC and WHO, when programming features.  I suspect Fitbit used these guidelines in its decision.

But that doesn’t fit all situations, they need allow the user to decide for
themselves, especially when it comes to extreme surgeries, like gastric
bypass.
