I got my FitBit to track my health, but it does not allow me to choose weight gain under the calorie calculator. It just puts me on a maintenance diet, which is allegedly 1550cals for an adult who is FIVE FOOT SEVEN. I would absolutely be losing weight on that, and since I'm already at risk of being underweight, it's dangerous. As someone with a history of eating disorders who is trying to bulk up, I'm pretty mad about this. For a company that insists it's about health, it's ignorant to assume that all weight gain is unhealthy, and it's pretty messed up to impose that with the UX.
This really has to change ASAP.

@generalhobby I can choose to "gain" weight under the weight logging tile. I am not going to try it because I don't want to mess up my current goal, but a gain weight goal is there for me on iOS.

I was beginning to think that I was the only person with this issue, with my FitBit, until I saw your post! I was recently hospitalized in the ICU for two months, due to malnutrition, and I've been using a FitBit Sense, and trying to gain weight, ever since.. I've only been out of the hospital for about a month now, but I have been finding it pretty frustrating that it won't let me have "gain weight" as a real goal, that I can work towards properly, with accurate app integration.. what I've been doing instead, is just trying to get my calorie intake into the "red zone"/ "over budget" everyday, but it's still not the level of functionality that I would like to have..
I definitely agree with you, they aren't considering all aspects of health by leaving out an entire target group of people, in terms of both weight and goals.. I would love to see them put more effort into this option, it would certainly make "FitBit", as a whole, a lot more useful to myself, and likely many others in the same predicament..
