Would anyone know why I can't find fresh berries listed in the database? I can't find fresh blueberries, raspberries or blackberries in the database. I can find all sorts of food that include the berry names or all sorts of frozen berries, but nothing for the fresh berries.
I know they used to be there, as I have used them before, but now they are gone

Not sure what the issue is, but I managed to pull all up (they came up first). Try putting a raw with them if need be.

I tried putting raw before the berry name, but that gets me no result at all. Putting fresh first doesn't get any results either
I should add that I'm using the Canadian database
Thanks

Sorry, should have been more clear. Try:
raspberry, raw
I don't know that Fitbit has a specific database for Canada. I'm in Canada myself.

Similar here (UK database, but I'm in Poland) and we've just entered cherry and raspberry season
Search cherry and I get 'cherry pie', 'cherry crumble', cherry fudge cake(??), etc before, eventually, way down the list 'sweet cherries' - which will then transfer into my 'frequent' foods listing under 'S' instead of 'C' and I found 'raspberries' rather than the singular, for the fresh berries but 'frozen raspberries' and 'canned raspberries' came first.
Database seems more suited to those eating pre-packed, frozen or microwave stuff than those wanting to find natural ingredients to eat, or use in home-cooked/prepared meals?
After all, not all cherry pies are going to be the same - how much filling, different pastry/filling ratio, how much sugar, individual small pie, big family pie ...... blah, blah, STOP me before this turns into a rant.

I've found the same thing. The processed foods seem to be listed first. Eggs are the same way. A whole egg is way down the list after all sorts of food that have the word egg in them 😞
I did finally find cherries, but not blueberries or raspberries, only the frozen versions

I have noted the same thing for a lot of fresh fruit.
I actually ended up creating entries for the database on Blueberries. I also had to do the same thing for "white granulated sugar"
I like that everything is in one place with this as I used to use MFP but MFP definitely had a better catalogue of food.

I have the same problem! I hate it. It should be easy to log fresh fruit; berries are one of the most basic healthy snacks. Not to mention very common foods. So it really surprises me that they aren't in the database.

It's so weird, hardly any fresh veggies/fruits show up on the database here in Australia - it's all frozen or just some form of the fruit/veg being baked into some unhealthy dish. I've added all mine in manually by googling nutrition content and cals per gram etc. I'm starting to wonder if anyone out there eats just regular fruit and veg anymore, I search banana and get "banana bread, banana cake, banana biscuits, banana icing, banana ice cream" but do you think there's just a regular old banana in there lol
