Help needed : My fitbit dashboard for this week says my calorie deficit is -895 Does that mean I've eaten too much or does that take into account my 0.5 lb a week weight loss that i have set it to ????
Im so confused, i am not losing weight and its driving me mad.

@lex69 I assume you are talking about this tile screen shot:
What that is saying is you have eaten 895 calories less than you have burned.

it is saying you are at a 895 calorie deficit. So lets say you have eaten 2,000 calories, it implies you have burned 2,895 calories.

ok Sorry for this i have such a number blindness i cant seem to get my head around it all.
So this is a good thing. however for the past few months my deficit has been along the - 2000 mark yet i havent lost any weight. Is this deficit too high and therefore maybe my body is going into 'starvation mode'.
I only have 14lb ish to lose, i have PCOS whisch makes weight lose harder but clearly not impossible.
Thank you for your help i am determined to get my head around these numbers

At only 14 lbs to lose until your goal weight I would suggest a caloric deficit of no more than 500 calories/day (1lb/week loss) however it would probably be better to be in the .5lb/week range. As you get closer to your goal weight it gets harder to lose and it needs to be more gradual.
