For a really good idea try the weight watchers cabbage soup. They count it as free points. It's basically a vegetable soup with little to no calories. You can make a big pot and eat it for a few meals. In addition to cabbage and some low sodium chicken stock (read the cans for calories before you pick one) I put in squash, bean sprouts, bok choy and whatever else I have on hand. For eating out I've done well with Asian food when selected correctly. Miso or eggdrop soup, a fresh spring roll and stir fry without any rice for lunch or dinner works well.
