@gw126  I've had it working on Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 without any problems.

Just purchased ASUS Tablet which runs on Windows 8 ............ had a devil of a time finding fitbit app to work with it.  Finally discovered Windows Store and downloaded FitBit app from there.  Keeps asking for dongle but there is no USB port for dongle to be inserted.  Magically, ASUS paired with my Flex and seems to be working as well as my PC does with the dongle.  Miraculous!!!!  At the moment, I'm sitting near my PC where the dongle is inserted ---- is this why ASUS seems to be working with FitBit app???  Or is it working on the BlueTooth 4.0 low energy???

I think I got a defective tablet ---- returned it to Best Buy and ordered a
Samsung which I think will work better for me. I don't think Windows 8.1
was the problem.
