I too have been lacking in the motivation department, I still go do my H.I.I.T. 2x each week, And have really tried to keep consistently food logging, but this is what I having starting slacking keeping up with. I like going doing the workout, and have not gotten my own third 'home' workout each week.

I need to REset my goals and starting applying myself. And my mindset.

I made it a third of the way of my original goal I had set for myself.

Write it down, look at every day, think of your end result/goal. How easy it can be.

We have done it before, it can be done again. Its NOT out of reach!

I keep pictures of myself from before... I look at them and remind myself how far I have gotten. Having a work out buddy to help motivate is awesome, you wont skip a work out when you know you have someone waiting for you, I also feel like we push each other harder when we work out together. Just keep going one day at a time, and celebrate the small things.

I agree. Celebrate the small things and take one day at a time. make each one count. If you fail, then try it again. It helps to have someone to exercise with who is just as motivated.

Keep it up!

Is there any other time that you can go exercising? It sounds to me like you aren't a morning person.I am not a morning runner either unless there is a race.  Otherwise I prefer to go in the late afternoon. Maybe you could switch the time you exercise.

Otherwise if you can't, try turning on some upbeat music to get you moving. You could also ask a friend to go on the run/jog with you. That way when they show up at your home, you are less likely to bail out because their there

What I love about the fitbit is this... you don't have to jog, just eat under your allowed calories. If you don't have the motivation to jog, then don't. I lost all the weight I wanted to lose while doing the least exercise I have ever done in my life by logging my food and "listening" to my fitbit.

I am not one of those people who LOVES to work out, especially cardio. But I have realized how awesome I feel after I commit to it and it really changes the outcome of my day for the better--more energy, puts me in a better mood and I feel accomplished and more confident---how i feel AFTER is what motivates me, but believe me those few minutes leading up to it are no picnic. I figure if I can spend a half hour on my computer, or watching TV I can certainly spend 30-45 minutes working out.
