Did you mean:

intermittent fasting tracking ability?!

Looking through the message boards, I can see users have been asking for this capability since 2015. Yet, it still seems to be missing fro the latest Charge 5.

Any idea why Fitbit is resistant to adding this feature when so many users practice IF?
Has anyone discovered a work around they like?

Hello @cfy and welcome to the Help forum.  There is a Feature Suggestion asking for intermittent fasting tracking.  You should vote for it and leave a comment.  This request is listed as being Under Consideration, so there is a possibility that it might be released.

I am also moving your post to the Manage Weight forum.  It is a better fit for your question.  The Feature Suggestion might get more votes from users browsing the Manage Weight forum.

I connect my FitBit with my phone and my IF info comes through on it.  Not sure why it isn’t an option.  So many people use it.

So what exactly is being tracked in regards to IF that is not available otherwise?

I've been doing IF for years and wondering what I'm missing. Or what work-around would look like.

I log a dinner, I log some snacks after, I got my totals showing how close to goals I am.

I personally don't need alarms as I kinda have memorized the times and have a watch, in case that is a desire.

Just curious.

Don't forget to add your votes and comments for the feature suggestion that @LZeeW mentioned earlier, this helps the team of developers to keep track of popularity and demand over time. 😁
