When I log on in the morning there is a new weight calculated. Is this the weight I go by? Is the fitbit accurate and can it tell what I've lost. I know my scale at home is less than work ( in healthcare and all kinds of scales at work, arg) But Fitbit seems to know if I have lost, even is it is a minute amount, I'll take what I can get 🙂 Just want to know if fitbit flex is able to calculate it.

I don't know why it sometimes posts a small loss (usually .10 pounds). I go with the weight my scale reads, I think I read someone thought it might be a rounding/conversion error. The Fitbit device really doesn't have any way of knowing unless you have a scale that links via wifi (I don't).
Wouldn't your scale at home be less if you are weighing first thing in the morning without clothes? I weigh first thing in the morning, after using the rest room without clothes. Weight can fluctuate throughout the day according to how recently you ate or drank, exercise, etc and clothing weighs something too. A couple weeks ago, I had a morning doctor apointment and weighed 2 pounds more than I did at home that morning, but at the doctors office I was wearing clothes and had drank some black coffee and water (hadn't eaten yet or it might have been a bigger difference). But I assumed that was the weight of my clothes and some increased fluid weight rather than inaccuracy of my scales (which probably are not as accurate as the doctors office, but was surprised how little the difference was). I have tested my scale putting weighs on it and it seems to weigh them correctly though so maybe it is pretty accurate.

Thats about what I'm getting, a 0.1 loss daily. My scale does show I have a lost a bit. Only started Tuesday. I'll have to check at work and see how accurate it is to fitbit. But I didn't think it could track me. But then it does track our sleep at night. amazing what this little chip can do.
