hi, i am trying low carb..was told to avoid dairy so i am using coconut oil and almond milk. Do mosy people subtract the fiber and only count net carbs?

i usually just count total carbs unless something has a LOT of fiber (like coconut flour).

I have been very successful with low carb diets and I always count just the net carbs.  If you need to use dairy, stick to heavy cream (the higher the fat content, the lower the net carbs) or real butter.
