need to loose 45kg

Does anybody want to join me on this journey to loose weight. couldn't believe when I stood on the scales at the doctors I was that heavy, I was having breathing problems (no wonder) so the breathing specialist suggested I get a tracker, so while I recovered from glandular fever I googled them put one on layby at Easter and picked it up during May looked at it for 2 weeks saying to myself but I do walk, so eventually got out the iphone and worked out the technology stuff myself, my first day walked 10km got my first badge woohoo thought this could be fun, got right into it but the kilos still weren't moving I'd loose a couple gain one so the yoyo effect so then after working the friends bit out joined a gym, through the gym joined a weightloss eating habit called metabolic jumpstart started to see the kilos move I have now lost 9kilos and got a badge woohoo enjoy the daily goal challenges yes I am addicted to them if you would like to join me please feel free to add me https://www.fitbit.com/user/3GKP4R or email -Redacted-. now I am doing 100,000 steps a week and am 50 years old, need to get fit to keep up with family. Since holidaying in Bali have upgraded from the charge to charge HR (once again doctors advice) need to watch the old ticker, first time I ran/jog in over a decade. Let's do this together.

Hi there @Diane65! I will gladly join to this journey 🙂  Congrats in getting a badge your first day, that's awesome, 10 km a day is a lot!

Keep it up and I'm here if you need anything!

Hi Diane65 - I am similar to you. I'm 51 years old and when I started on Fitbit in May this year weighed in at 105 kilos. Happy to say I have lost 17 kilos since then. I'm aiming for a total weight loss of 35 kilos, so still a long way to go, but feeling great and very positive right now. I hope the Fitbit inspires you as much as it has me. Good luck on your journey!
