post a question

Hi everybody,

I am feeling a bit discouraged this morning.  I have been using the Fitbit for a week now and have just weighed myself.  I am somehow 2 kg heavier?  I walk everyday, hit my food target, drink more water than ever before, and have cleaned up any junk from my food intake.  I am a mother nursing a 6 month old baby and I am wondering if, although I indicated that I am nursing, that I am not taking in enough calories now so my body is storing up because it thinks it is in deficit.

Any mothers out there with advice??  Thanks

Confirm each weigh-in was valid to draw any conclusions from in such a minor short time.

Morning after rest day eating normal sodium levels, not sore from last workout.

If either weigh-in was not valid, throw it out and wait longer, only weigh-in on valid days so as not to get stressed over normal fluctuations.

Because 2 kg is easily covered by having a false water weight loss prior to first weigh-in, and now a false water weight gain prior to second one. Combo shows weight up, but not really. Just max fluctuations.

Usually if you undereat and nursing your body will find a way to trash your body to confirm baby gets enough.

If you selected a weekly weight loss goal BTW, your body is in a deficit to what you burn daily.

Did you select a reasonable weekly weight loss amount though?

How much to lose and what goal was selected?
