using Fitbit flex to help with grazing and over eating

I have a problem of always picking, eating a bite of this or a bite of that and not ever counting it. and i always feel hungry....... and over eat inbetween meals.  so i have "hooked" up my fitbit flex silent alarms, to go off at 8am, 11,am, 2pm and 6 pm..... i am reminded to NOT eat until the alarm goes off, i have it set every 3 hours, and the last meal i am reminded to try and eat before or at 6 pm.  I will let you know how this goes.  🙂

I like your idea.  Am going to try it but modify it  with no eating after 9 pm  Thanks for the suggestion

first day over, not able to eat rest of the night....... such a wake up call, i must have almost mindlessly put food in my mouth dozens of times!!!    the alarm reminder really worked,  it will also work the other way too. Day's when i am at work i forget to eat all day long.... then binge all evening...  this way i will be reminded to eat the snacks and meals that i will have prepared in advance...... so maybe i won't get so mindlessly hungry 😉

I just got my fitbit three days ago and i love it. never thought about actually making alarms to remind me to eat though, thats a great idea! i recently got a new job and its not as physical as my old job so i started to gain weight, not okay with me, so i started drinking a ton of water and snack in between meals. I also started going to the gym at my apartment after work, and all in all it has helped out a lot.
