weight gain

Does anyone gain weight after a long walk/run! I did a half Marathon this pass weekend fast walk and jog a bit, ended up gaining a little bit, Did have to down the gu gels during my walk/jog. Any info on this would be great! Thank you ahead of time!

Of course you will.

 

Muscle retains water for repair.

 

Only valid weigh-in day to minimize a bunch of normal false gains/losses:

Morning after rest day eating normal sodium levels, not sore from last workout.

 

Any other day, forget it unless you have at minimum a months worth of daily data to see direction.
