The best time to do a monthly self-breast exam is about 3 to 5 days after your period starts. We should do this at the same time every month, as our breasts are not as tender or lumpy at this time in our monthly cycles.
An alert/reminder 5 days after day 1 (first day of red (not spotting)) would perhaps even save lives.

I agree - I would love to see a reminder to do a self-exam monthly added to the Fitbit app. I would like to adjust it myself, though, as 5 days after my period starts I am usually in a lot of pain (endometriosis) and prefer to do it a few days later.
Considering also that many men should do a self-exam, perhaps having an option for all Fitbit users to add the reminder would be best. It definitely can save lives by earlier detection!
