Menstrual Health tracker

Is there a way to revert back to the older version of the menstrual tracker. I had an update today and it is awful. It doesn't show you the full month, tell you what day of you cycle it is and no option to add when ovulation actually is. It just assumes everyone ovulated mid cycle. I see no option to add symptoms. Please allow us to revert back to the old version.

Fitbits just seems to be getting worse, First the clock face, then Spotify, the dashboard and now this

The new update to menstral health is horrible. It's not user friendly and you can't use it for anything like you could before. It's essential ally useless the way you've changed it. And I know other agree I just read a fitbit forum on it.

@Joby1982  those decisions are beyond my control. I'm part of a volunteer group that helps by answering questions or merging a post here and there. Only a Fitbit Moderator has the ability to remove posts or threads. The forums were restructured a while back and some old threads were removed, but I don't have an answer for you.

Thanks @Odyssey13 for replying appreciate it.

It was a brand new feature request so definitely not an old thread 😔

@LizzyFitbitcan you help us answer that? Seems like it was taken down as people were airing there dissatisfaction

This update is absolutely AWFUL !! My past information and logged ovulation dates ARE INCORRECT!!! I have been paying premium only to have my pervious logged information wiped away??? Now I have no information to tell my Dr when trying to calculate our future due date because the displayed periods are NOT correct and I never bothered to write any of this information on pen and paper. This is horrible and extremely disappointing.

Fitbit did you even user test this by the population of people who use it?

How can I get my old logged information back?

I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied.

Yeah I literally switched from Clue to Fitbit because Clue updated and made the experience worse like this - making you take more steps to track your symptoms etc!

Fitbit is getting worse and worse!

Soooo @LizzyFitbit (who I can't even tag anymore 🤯) no one here likes this new "improved" update, is anything going to be done? We would at least like to know of the devs are getting this feedback and if they are going to do something. We expect some kind of explanation...

sent a message to Google. If they don't reply maybe we need to say something on the made by Google Facebook page. It's getting ridiculous

Me too!! It's beyond frustrating. Even today when I started my period, I put it in and it just picked a date that my period will end and I can't seem to edit it! Clearly no women were involved in this update.

Same.. I blocked updates 5 different places, on my phone, the wifi and notification settings, in the store, in the app settings.. it just does it anyway. We have no say in the products, we buy anymore.. it can't be legal to ignore these blocks and pauses on updates. Or force it like "do it or you can't use it at all", when I bought the device. They changed something on my phone, I didn't allow. They changed the product, they sold me.

Hey Fitbit (bought and now owned by Google)

HOW ARE YOU UPDATING THE APP ON OUR PHONES WHEN WE ALL DISALLOWES/CHANGED/BLOCKED/ALTERED AUTOMATIC UPDATES?

There are ALOT of people here stating that you have over run our cellphone settings to push an update we have specifically changed our settings to avoid.

HOW MUCH MORE SECRET ACCESS DO YOU HAVE TO OUR CELL PHONES?

If you have the ability and have proven you can overide our allowances WHAT ELSE are you doing/taking/watching from our cell phones?

This is very concerning that our privacy and informed decisions are disregarded/over run by a TRILLION dollar company micromanging our phones

Hello Ladies!

Can you try something for me?

I have a samsung phone, and I THINK, I finally blocked the wretched menstrual update.

I deleted the fitbit app and reinstalled it, then NOT opening it, I went to settings - apps - fitbit - mobile data and then switched OFF "allow background data usage". It might be called something similar, since I am translating it to english.

I also cleared the cache and data. Settings - apps - fitbit - storage (translated) - clear cache and data.

I also switched off automatic updates in the google store.

I don't know exactly, what did the trick, but it seems to work after blocking all these BEFORE opening the newly installed fitbit app.

Then I logged, and said no to everything.

Now it says inside the app, that it needs to pair with my luxe and there is an update. It syncs fine anyway, and I ofcourse ignore the update message.

I hope, it works for you as well ❤️

Feel free to let me know, if it worked for you aswell

I don't think any of our complaints are being heard. Instead we get a generic reply for tips on how to use a highly illogical update. So many features taken away that we used regularly.

It would be nice is someone took our feedback seriously

First half decent response. Could you tell them that we did to a feature request but that it got deleted!? Maybe send the link to this forum chat so they can see all the complaints. Not sure what else we can do. I didn't get a reply from made by Google 😔

I was debating starting a new one today but I reckon it will just get taken down again 😔
