Menstrual Health tracker

Is there a way to revert back to the older version of the menstrual tracker. I had an update today and it is awful. It doesn't show you the full month, tell you what day of you cycle it is and no option to add when ovulation actually is. It just assumes everyone ovulated mid cycle. I see no option to add symptoms. Please allow us to revert back to the old version.

Fitbits just seems to be getting worse, First the clock face, then Spotify, the dashboard and now this

Please looks at all these comments. Every woman here much preferred the old version. We need a scrollable calender, an easy way to see and log symptoms and see what cycle day it is. Please revert to the older version, Many women used this to track and compare their cycles, trying to conceive and for health issues. Everyone has different cycles, no two women have the same. This update is incredibly insensitive, and no explanation whatever why features have been taken away.

I HATE the new version. All useful features seem to have disappeared. You need to be able to see a scrollable calender with symptoms marked with dots to see patterns. A list halfway down the page leaves you doing mental calculations rather than simply ingredient seeing trends. Also for my most recent period it is randomly telling me it will be a 17 day cycle and start on 6th April?

Please can we go back to the older version.

Useful updated would involve correlating resting HR to menstrual cycles so we can see how that changes over our cycle. Also rather than cardio load which seems pointless when it doesn't take into account cycles, consider insights like "your HR is high, you may be about to stay your period" or "your skin temp is up, you may be about to ovulate "

As a perimenopausal Woman,  I have been relying on this feature over the last few years to track my ever-changing cycle & symptoms.

To say that I am unimpressed by the recent changes to this tool is an understatement!

Do developers really want to mess with a perimenopausal Woman??? 🤬

How do we provide feedback to Fitbit.  I don't like the latest changes to the menstrual health app.  It's too technical and scientific looking.  I liked the old version where you could scroll up and down and see calendar months at a glance.  Now I have to sift through it and go page by page.  And all of the info below the calendar, with the descriptions of the different stages of the cycle, are repetitive and clutter the page.  Please change it back to where it was easier to read and use.

Viewing your cycle: The new calendar shows a month at a time. We know that cycles can span multiple months, so you can always navigate to past or future months by tapping the '<' '>' buttons above the calendar.

In my case my periods have been super regular, but a short cycle, so counting days was key, even with predicted periods in the app. Now that my cycles are jumping around it becomes even more important, especially as the predictions can't predict any more. The scrolling made it easy; the < and > to move between months is clunky.

Please pass our feedback up the line, that we're not happy with this change.

Everyone knows how the new version works.  The entire point is it is a terrible updated version that does not accomplish what all of these women need or want!  If Fitbit doesn't care about the needs of the people who actually use a critical part of their app, then why should anyone keep paying to use it?  I surely won't.  It has to have been "fixed" by a man because no woman would ever make something this complicated when it was actually very easy on the previous version.  Fix it, don't keep trying to mansplain it to women.

The feature request has been deleted and merged again. We are obviously not being taken seriously and ignored. It is apparent that this is NOT going to change and it's time to start looking for an alternative and start migrating our data before it is gone in completely.

There have been two feature requests created so far both of which have been deleted 😔

Was a reason for the removal given?

No they just merge the feature request with this community thread which means it doesn't get in front of fitbit like the feature requests would.... Infuriating

Not sure if others will see this. I contacted the help desk through the app this evening and gave my feedback on this change!

Click on you account icon on the top right and then on Help.

Click on help centre and scroll down there is an option to call or email.

I was only waiting 1 min and spoke to a helpful agent.

It would be great if others made contact as well.

What did the agent say? Did they say they would get this feedback in front of someone?

I have contacted via email but got replies back that were very standard and didn't resolve the issue. Such as 'we are not seeing the issue' and 'if the issue persists send screen shots' 🙈

Happy to contact the instant chat though if you think would make a difference

I completely agree, I can't even describe how visually horrible and unintuitive this update is! I miss the scroll-down calendar view over several months and the intuitive editing options. I want to be able see my predicted ovulation but have zero need for the crazy visual clutter of the dark blue fertile window markings in the new calendar view. Editing a logged period is super clumsy, and the monthly view makes it hard to see at a glance where I'm at in my cycle.

However, there's one thing this update makes even easier for me: to reduce my dependency on my Fitbit. I no longer look at many of the features I used to check daily - it was the inane cardio load prompt you can't get rid of that started this trend for me. Period tracking was one thing I was still using, but now it seems I'm going back to paper calendar for that. If I ever find a regular watch with vibration alarm and timer functions, I can get rid of my Fitbit completely. I'm laughing now thinking that the period tracking feature was actually the main reason I chose Fitbit for my first smartwatch.

I don't like the new calendar. It's not user friendly and I can only see one month. I also don't like the settings where you can't see activities on the actual calendar and I like the symbols instead of it saying what it is. The other version was so much better.

I just logged it to update my frequent, irregular and downright unpredictable cycle and symptoms.

What an absolute disappointment to see the changes. Most annoyingly, I can't log my current period because it is too close to th end date of my last logged cycle. -"I know, I had to deal with it, I am also sad it is back"

I loved being able to scroll back and see the weeks with bright colours, so easy to read and see at a glance. The actual dates don't matter- because I want to track the length and space in between cycles.

Lately every update has been horrible. Not visually friendly at all. The newest is the menstrual one. I can't just log the day anymore. I put in 1 period day and changes it to 3. Also no longer visually friendly notes like flow or feelings. I've absolutely hated every update since they changed the sleep. Also no easy way to log water

The latest update to the menstrual health section is AWFUL. I want to easily scroll up/down the calendar; I don't want to only see one month at a time. Written lists of data is not helpful; I want to be able to click on any day to see the visual details (symptoms, flow etc). You've also reduced the list of available symptoms - why?!?

How do I find out how to do this?

I could not agree with the above comment more! I came to this page with the sole purpose of reporting this same feedback.

At a bare minimum, bring back the scroll through the calendar feature.  It was very helpful to be able to quick scroll up and down to monitor trends and quick find symptom days etc.

I would really like the old method of logging symptoms/flow data back as well. Want to see a visual cue on calendar and click for more details quickly. I really liked having the symptom and flow symbols. I would have preferred they added symptoms, not remove any.

New update does not allow for ease of use. Bring the old back,  please! I depend on it!
