Is there a way to revert back to the older version of the menstrual tracker. I had an update today and it is awful. It doesn't show you the full month, tell you what day of you cycle it is and no option to add when ovulation actually is. It just assumes everyone ovulated mid cycle. I see no option to add symptoms. Please allow us to revert back to the old version.
Fitbits just seems to be getting worse, First the clock face, then Spotify, the dashboard and now this

Best AnswerI have gone back to using an app called 'my calendar' which i used before fitbit. It at least shows me my logged symptoms.
Fitbit/google have shown their true colours when it comes to their female client base.
100% agree! I wish it would just go back... I hate this new version 😒
Literally said the same thing. I refuse to believe there were any women involved in this update because the functionality and aesthetics are horrible in comparison to what was there before. It makes me soo upset especially as a fitbit user of over 10 years.
As a woman 'of a certain age' I relied in the tracker to plot when I had my last period and perimenopsausal symptoms. The new update makes it very difficult as it assumes I've not logged a period ... Adding them where it thinks it should be, and it's very difficult to scroll between months to track symptoms. Being able to see all months on the screen by scrolling up and down was much easier. The new update feels like a massive step backwards and I wonder if any females were consulted in the design at all 😞
I agree that the old tracker was so much better. The app needs to support women in a useful way, and that means you should be able to easily scroll through each month continuously. It's like the designer's have assumed all women start their period on the first day of the month or something. If you dare to have a period that crosses between two months, the new tracker is clunky and cumbersome and unhelpful. Might as well just install a different menstual tracker.
Apparently, if we give feedback directly through the app, it's more likely to be looked at.
Click on your icon on the top right corner when in the Fitbit app, and there should be a feedback button at the bottom.
If we all do it there's a chance they might listen... ....
Hi @RWIG78 I have just submitted my feedback and shared the link to this thread. I suggest everyone does the same. This thread just seems to be a playground for power tripping mods. At least this feedback will go directly to fitbit. You can also leave a voice note.
You can do this by clicking the top right within the fitbit app. Everyone submit your feedback!
The menstrual tracking update is horrible! It is actually a down grade. Going through perimenopause, it is very important to be able to scroll back and forth through months to see how long a period is or how long it is between periods. You can't do this now.
I agree that the old version was much better. Not being able to scroll through all months makes the menstual tracker clunky and difficult to use. I've had to install a different app and won't be using Fitbit anymore unless it's changed back. The new version is a downgrade.
The update is unbelievably AWFUL! What a massive step backwards. It's no longer interactive. If I want to know what day in my cycle I am, I now have to manually count it!! What a massive backwards step. I can't see when I've had migraines or other symptoms visually in the calendar - just a static image which is super hard to see which day is today. No-one wants to see a list and I also want to see all the dates on one screen like before, not month by month. I'm no longer going to use Fitbit to track my period. I've just downloaded Flo and am going to start again on a new app which is actually customer friendly.
I agree! Can't easily see symptoms anymore with all those triangles. And I don't think women of a certain age need a description of ovulation, etc, taking up space on the screen.
Also the muted tones make those of use who have visual memories have trouble locating buttons/icons quickly. And the vertical scrolling for symptoms is also not helpful, I'd rather have the month view as scrolling.
It's so much less accessible and feels like they are running the app down on purpose to drive people away from the brand. It's ridiculous because Fitbit have been such a huge part of my health management for years, but every update seems to make it harder to stay because they keep taking away the features people actually want.
The new period tracker is harder to navigate, harder to read, and much more difficult to spot patterns with. Awful.
I don't think I will be able to justify staying with Fitbit when this watch fails 😔
Yes! This new update is worse than horrible. So unintuitive. Why change from the continuous scroll to having to flip between month-by-month... Because we all know biology famously respects calendar months (nevermind the fact that the typical cycle is only 28 days 🤦:female_sign:) Who designed this????? Also STILL no option to add any custom symptoms, it's just a basic short list... Like, if you're doing a whole overhaul redesign why not make an effort to add one of the most requested features.
Starting to believe the theorists that this redesign is on purpose to tank the app because I don't understand how such a terrible design made it past any sort of testing/quality control.
