Whenever I try and edit details in the period tracker, the Fitbit app freezes. And yes - tried Bluetooth on/off, restarting phone, etc.

I'm also having this problem, I noticed that it started yesterday (11/13/2021). I'd be interested if they'll ever fix this feature to where it actually works the way it should. I've been using the period tracker since it first came out and it works intermittently at best. Just use the calendar in your phone instead and save yourself the frustration. Seems like even when they fix whatever the issue is, something else with it gets messed up later.

I’ve been having this problem too, and it’s not the first time. It’s incredibly annoying but judging by the last time there were major problems with this function: don’t count on Fitbit caring enough to fix it.

Also having the same issue, has been happening for a few weeks. Have tried previous suggestions of logging in and out, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, resetting Bluetooth etc. (use iPhone version). Very frustrating!
