The menstrual health tile on the watch is poorly thought-out. The only option is to “log period”. I can do that from my phone anytime… I personally do not find the tile on my watch to be useful as you still have to load the app on your phone to actually input the start of a period — but what would be super helpful is to display information relevant to your cycle on the watch. The cycle day is only displayed on the app.
When troubleshooting on the Fitbit Health Centre website the information states “On your watch… Your current cycle is shown”, which is incorrect. I’ve added a screenshot of this information below.
As a woman, we know the feeling of “Oh, did I just start my period?”. It would be so helpful to have the Cycle Day I’m currently on displayed on my watch. This would also permit me to check my cycle day ahead of time to better predict it. Also, for women who are in their era of having children, additional fertility information (fertile days) would be handy to be displayed on the watch itself as an option as well.
Is it possible that this could be changed in future? Perhaps consulting a panel of menstruating women would be helpful while developing this feature.
Thanks!
