Hi RubyGirl!  This is my first day too!  So far, this is the most embracing gizmo and group idea I've come across in a long time.  Looking forward to sharing successes and vulnerabilities with the community.  Be Well!

Hi Everyone,

3 day of having a Fitbit one, first day of exercising with it with my stats for my workout posted below.

"My fitbit #Fitstats for 7/06/2014: 6,894 steps and 3.2 miles traveled. "

That is seriously the most I have done in 2 years so I am looking forward to pushing onward with more.

Hi! I'm new and at the 3 day mark as well with my fitbit! I am a long time exercise fanatic but some days I feel I can use a bit of an incentive to get moving! I love my fitbit!

Hello everyone. I just got my fitbit in the mail as a gift. I am pretty excited to start using it. I was a bit suprised that it already has calories burned and 166 steps already set on it. I am assuming this happened during shipping because the box was not that hard to open. Smiley Very Happy

The first couple of days I sort of obsessed with it. Settled into a routine and allow myself up to 1/2 hour a day going on forums and getting Best Practices tips on use. I find the sleep data interesting. It tells me FACTUALLY that I am not getting enough!
I still find it worth the investment [of time and $$$]

Hi, I recently got my fitbit too and love it!  Only problem is sore feet and I've been crazy trying on shoes for it.  I think now I'll keep what I have.  I am walking so much more the past couple weeks so I guess that's why my feet are sore?  That's about my only issue, but other than that, it's great.  I'd like to lose weight, but I don't want to push myself too much on that - just concentrate on moving more and getting healthy so I don't get discouraged.  Anyway, glad to be here!

Hi everyone, I've had my Flex about 2 weeks now.  Still figuring it all out but looking forward to the additional motivation and ideas from this board.  I too need to address the issue of sore feet - time to start searching for better walking shoes!

I'd love some tips, thanks.  Right now my goal is 5,000 steps.  I usually make it, average close to 6,000.
